Dr. Khatira Safari is a dedicated and compassionate acupuncturist, committed to providing personalized care that supports healing, restores balance, and enhances the overall well-being of her patients. With a strong foundation in both Western and Traditional Chinese Medicine, Dr. Safari offers a comprehensive range of treatments designed to address a variety of health concerns, including pain management, digestive health, women’s health, immune support, and more.
Dr. Safari holds a Bachelor’s degree in Premed/Biological Sciences, which provided her with a deep understanding of human biology and physiology. Building on this scientific foundation, she earned her Doctorate in Acupuncture (D.Ac.) and Master’s in Science of Acupuncture (MSA) from Virginia University of Integrative Medicine, where she further integrated Eastern and Western approaches to healthcare. Dr. Safari is a licensed acupuncturist (LAc) by the Virginia Board of Medicine and is certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) as a Diplomate in Acupuncture.
